Paula was born on February 12, 1950 to Charles Thames and Dorothy Bailey in Los Angeles, California. In her childhood she enjoyed life on the farm with brother, sister and her beloved pet goat. When Paula turned eighteen she married Thomas Mc Clendon and they had one child Cynthia Mc Clendon and as a family she loved to travel her favorite place was the bayou in Mississippi. Paula was born on February 12, 1950 to Charles Thames and Dorothy Bailey in Los Angeles, California. In her childhood she enjoyed life on the farm with brother, sister and her beloved pet goat. When Paula turned eighteen she married Thomas Mc Clendon and they had one child Cynthia Mc Clendon and as a family she loved to travel her favorite place was the bayou in Mississippi. Later she met the love of her life Charles Garrett and the had one child Lisa Garrett and they enjoyed life as a family. She enjoyed cooking for her loved ones, she enjoyed fishing which was her favorite thing to do. Later in life you would always catch Miss. Paula starting her day with a cup of coffee and cigarettes. She also loved spending time with family and friends and her beautiful grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her grandmother Minny Mc Fadden, mother Dorothy Helen Thames, father Charles Thames, brother Melvin Tommy Bryant and the love of her life Charles Augusta Garrett. She leaves behind daughters Cynthia Potts and her husband Ranell, Lisa Garrett and her husband Lawrence Carter, sisters Yvonne Marrable-Hall of Modesto, CA and grandchildren Bailey Adam Potts, Amber Chapman, Monica Boyd Potts, Aliyah and Amya Garrett, one great grandchild Charles Chapman and her grandson aka Herman Aaron Anthony Gutierrez and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
